Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Urooj Enterprises LLC ("BacklinkCAT", "we") collects and uses personal data when you use app.backlinkcat.com and backlinkcat.com.
1. Data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed by Firebase Authentication), optional Skype and WhatsApp contact details, account type (Client or Publisher).
- Listing and order data: websites you list, their metrics and prices, orders, content you upload, live links, messages and dispute evidence, ratings.
- Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store full card numbers. We store Stripe identifiers, amounts, and payout status. Publishers' bank details are collected by Stripe directly under Stripe's own privacy policy.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and push-notification tokens, collected through Firebase.
2. How we use it
To run the marketplace (matching Clients and Publishers, processing orders and payments, resolving disputes), to send transactional emails and in-app notifications, to prevent fraud and abuse, to comply with legal obligations, and to improve the service. We do not sell personal data.
3. Sharing
Order details are shared between the Client and Publisher involved in that order. We share data with service providers who process it for us: Google Firebase (hosting, database, authentication), Stripe (payments and payouts), our email provider (transactional email), and analytics tools. We disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and users.
4. International transfers
Our servers are operated by Google Cloud in the United States and the EU. If you use the service from another country, your data is transferred to and processed in these locations.
5. Retention
Account data is kept while your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards where needed for tax, accounting, or dispute records. You can request deletion of your account; we will remove data we are not legally required to keep.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including the EU/UK GDPR and California CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to certain processing. Email support@backlinkcat.com and we will respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage for sign-in and preferences, and Stripe sets cookies during checkout for fraud prevention. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Children
The service is not directed to anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
